Enuit Adds Key New Functionalities
Enuit’s David Rao spent some time bringing us up to speed on product developments recently. It seems that it has been a busy time for the vendor in several areas. One area that it has been working on is around a partnership with Natural Gas Hub to facilitate Enuit users with increased visibility into nominations, meter readings and so on. The data is brought into Enuit’s ETRM via Natural Gas Hub where it can be readily inspected. This is now in testing, he told us, and scheduled for a Q3 release.
Another key area of work has been in the environmental and emissions area, he told us. This has involved adding functionality to support various emissions instruments and track them all the way through to delivery to manage their lifecycle. Certificates can be traded in the system and tracked. Enuit is also looking at interfacing to the various repositories and hope to auto synchronize in the future, he said. FTR management is yet another area that Enuit has been working on. It has an FTR management system SaaS app that can be independently subscribed to by users that tracks positions, transactions, and valuations. Enuit is in the process of adding other ISO’s data to the system.
Finally, David told us that it had finally completed the framework foundation for version 7 and had already built the front office on top of it with a plan to release it also in Q4. “It’s an incremental strategy,” he said. “Front office first followed by market risk and more in the future.”
