Invensoft’s Expanding Footprint
Among the vendors enjoying success in a buoyant market for CTRM and related software is Invensoft. Founder and CEO, Prasad Raju, told me recently that it had signed several new customers for its commodity management and its cloud-based digital agriculture offering. The solution now allows a great deal of farm management and intelligence to be done even in a remote location without connectivity. This covers areas like sustainability, traceability, digital framing, farm fintech and much more. “You know, it’s quite important nowadays to track traceability and compliance needs, so we provide that, and we have got few steps ahead,” he told me. “This allows for the digital Integration of commodity business from farms.”
The solution incorporates farmer registration, farm management including polygon set up, field inspection, survey and agronomy, on field quality analysis, on field commodity delivery and purchase, on field processing and bulking, sustainability and training as well as allowing farmers to negotiate loans, purchase materials and/or perform in kind transactions. Everything is based on GPS so that the system knows exactly where on the ground the person is located and whether or not there is connectivity. “You can penetrate into all those areas where you don’t have the mobile connectivity and it just automatically synchronizes with the cloud whenever you’re back in connectivity.”
Invensoft is growing and adding staff and the size of its campus in India as it meets the needs of its growing customer base and continues to add to its product suite and functionalities. Prasad was also quick to remind me that it also works in the metals space as well. “Our solution for LME and other exchange approved 3rd party metal warehousing business meets the end-to-end requirements of the warehousing business. Currently used by large enterprise warehouses across globe in multiple location, we are supporting customers to manage aluminum, zinc and other non-ferrous metals,” he said.
