The last weeks have seen a set of fines issued in the US:
Several banks were fined a total of approximately $1.8bn in total for improper use of messaging apps. The fines relate to the use of personal unrecorded channels for messaging, with those channels not being recorded as required. The CFTC notice can be found here and the SEC notice here. The CFTC fined two linked Chinese companies $720,000 for several infringements relating to positions limits and wash trading in cotton futures. The notice can be found here.
