It has been announced by ANRE, the National Regulatory Authority of Romania, that 24 market participants have been fined a total of 11,191,316. Leu (2,265,517 Euro) for breaches of REMIT Article 5. The notice (in Romanian) can be found here, and a relevant article on the Romanian Insider web site here. The notice states that the fine relates to wash trades and pre arranged trades. It also states that several other cases are being investigated.
