PBF Energy, founded in 2008, is one of the leading independent petroleum refiners and suppliers of unbranded transportation fuels, heating oil, petrochemical feed stocks, lubricants and other petroleum products in the United States. Through the acquisition of three domestic refineries in 2010 and 2011, they are currently the fourth largest domestic independent refiner.
