Amir Soufizadeh: BBGC represents the next generation of commodity and risk management consultancy, with a primary focus on delivering incremental business value to minimize delivery costs. As the Managing Director, I have been leading the team since January 2023, collaborating closely with our leadership across our various offices. Our strategic objectives include global team expansion and a dedicated commitment to fostering innovations that support sustainability and align with emerging technology trends in the commodities trading sector.
ComTech Advisory: Where has the company been operating and what sort of projects and services has it delivered to date?
Amir Soufizadeh: BBGC has a global presence, active in multiple countries, including Singapore, UK, US, UAE, Italy, France, and India. Our core mission involves providing robust support to our clients in constructing tailored, cutting-edge solutions and facilitating the selection and implementation of CTRM products. BBGC provides a perfect combination of deep energy and commodities market insights supported by extensive technology and software engineering capabilities to aid in business and technology strategy decisions. The firm distributed delivery models help deliver our clients complex programs and improve operational and financial performance.
ComTech Advisory: What does the CTRM focus look like in terms of services and capabilities?
Amir Soufizadeh: We have got extensive capabilities in most of CTRM platforms and work closely with vendors to stay informed about their product roadmaps. We also have strong development team with extensive bespoke CTRM development capability across trade life cycle including subject matter experts. The teams have either come with strong industry background working for some of leading energy and commodity firms or have worked directly on projects responsible for many of existing CTRM solutions in the market. BBGC deep experience in all facets of the commodities trading and risk management is hugely valuable to our clients undertaking similar initiatives across the globe.

Amir Soufizadeh: We have led initiatives in developing and implementing solutions for organizations engaged in physical Crude and products, LNG, Metals, and intricate derivative trading. Additionally, we have undertaken projects geared towards cost reduction and operational excellence for trading firms, enhancing their ability to streamline and optimize their operations. BBGC Teams work with several commodity trading firms in an advisory capacity, sets out the key building blocks for developing a business case to bring the traditionally siloed functions together by benefiting from integrated trading and risk management capabilities. These initiatives focuses on predictive analytics and machine learning capabilities, end to end trade life cycle optimisation and AI and automations capabilities.

Amir Soufizadeh: The insight from our clients suggest that most organisations are actively trying to identify ways to increase operational efficiencies when it comes to their CTRM capabilities, which mostly ties in with automation being a priority for them. We are determined to expand our presence beyond our current locations, broadening our capacity to serve clients in additional countries by offering services enabling our clients achieve their objectives. Internally, we are actively advancing our AI and Analytics capabilities, harnessing the latest technologies to bolster our support for next-gen bespoke trading and risk management solutions.
